ARTURO GONZALEZ LUIS YANEZ
Designer Drawing and Advertising Art. He has completed over 40 individual and 18 group exhibitions nationally and internationally. With his work has been twice selected to represent the State CONACULTA of Quintana Roo in catalogs Featured Artists (Frontera 2000 and South and Southeast Plastic Diversity 2007).
Within the teaching takes 19 years laboring in the House of Culture of Cancun where their students have earned numerous awards which include 4 in 2008 by the National Competition (Tribute to Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo and 6 in 2009 by Contest (Tribute to Salce and Remedios Varo). At the same time also serves as a museum and curator of Casa de la Cultura Cancun and Galleries of the State of Quintana Roo.
He worked 4 years in a major U.S. firm States in designing women\'s clothing (Sassafras). He designed the cover of the hymn book and Quintana Roo painted by children of Cancun.
Winner of several awards which are: 1st place in the biennial Quintana Roo 1992. Mention of Young Art in Guadalajara, Jalisco 1993. 1st place in the 5th Exhibition of Fine Arts Cancún. 2nd place in the 6th Exhibition of Fine Arts Cancún. 1st place in the Plastic Arts Exhibition 8TA Cancun. Award to the best of Cancun. There is recognition from the governments of Puebla, Merida, Quintana Roo and Veracruz.
It has the distinction of having exhibited his work in major national museums as the Museum of Mayan Culture in Chetumal, Museo de la Isla de Cozumel, Museum of Modern Art in Puebla, he was noted for the group exhibition \\ \"Hurricane \\\" in 2005. So as in the exhibition \\ \"Maestro Rolando Arjona \\\" at the Museum of Modern Art in Merida, Yucatan.
With his plastic work has crossed boundaries and has collectors of his works in different parts of the world.
Through the invitation of the Program of Support for Municipal and Community Cultures (PACMYC) in the State of Quintana Roo participated for 4 years as a member, obtaining important positions, most recently, the diagnosis and advice projects.
He is currently a member of the Program of Incentives to the artistic creation of the State of Quintana Roo through the Ministry of Culture and CONACULTA at country.
